I'm so behind I don't even know what to say....
Here are some pics...they're worth a thousand words, right?
Last Campout of the Year
We went camping at our favorite quick and easy spot, Heber. The kids were excited because they could go swimming, which they did, but it snowed the whole time. It wasn't supposed to snow in September! The Reed boys (Molly ditched us at the last minute) came and hung out with us for a day and Jake, Erin and Reagan also camped with us the whole weekend. We had a fun time swimming, playing games, eating good food, visiting the Buck N Beaver Lodge and just being with family.
Fall Festivals, Fairs and Farms
Sarah and the kids hit their fair share of Fall festivals, fairs and farms.
Pumpkin Day!
October 1st, unless on a Sunday like it was this year, is Pumpkin Day. What is Pumpkin Day you might ask? It is a made up holiday of Sarah's that she looks forward to all year long. It's the day you go pick out your pumpkins for Halloween. A pretty big deal in our household.
Leah's Birthday
Last year Leah had 2 birthday parties and a baptism party so we took it easy this year. She did some fun stuff though, just not a party per se. She soared over Fremont Street in Las Vegas for her birthday on a zipline. She had donuts the morning of her birthday and celebrated with her California cousins, Uncool Scott and Aunt Cynthia, got some fun presents, went out for yogurt with her best friends, had dinner with and also happened to drive home from Vegas the day of her birthday. If you ask her what she did for her birthday, all she remembers is being stuck in the car for 6 hours. Kids these days!
Halloween!
Spooky fun with all the family!
Thanksgiving!
Jim, Samantha and Madyson recently moved to Utah, so it was nice to have them near us for the holiday. We celebrated the day at their home. It was fun. Food prep, games, eating, talking and more eating. Good times, indeed.
Dax's Birthday...the Big 5!
Dax ended up having 3 birthday parties or gatherings; One for his friends, one for family and then another little one for when my Mom and Grandma could join us as they were out of town for the other two. Dax loves Dinosaurs, so that was his theme this year. His Mom decorated his room in a Dinosaur theme too and he was super stoked about that.

| Leah had her holiday piano recital. This year, she played "Drummer Boy" and she was flawless. She does well under pressure. |
| We don't know how much longer Grandma Parker will be teaching piano, but we'll take advantage of her talent and kindness while we can. She's a wonderful woman. Leah loves her. |
So, there you have it. Fall. We covered so much. I doubt anybody stayed interested long enough to get to the end of this long post. 2 Birthdays, 2 Holidays and a bunch more. It was a long post, but it caught me up. Almost!
