Daddy: What makes it such a lovely day?
Lou: Jesus gave us the sun to make it bright and warm!
Daddy: That is right.
Lou: Jesus loves me so much!
Daddy: Yes he does.
Lou: I like God.
Daddy: And he loves you so much!
Lou: He is so big. He fills our home.
Daddy: I certainly hope he does.
Lou: He loves me. He loves when my hair is soft.
Daddy: He does?
Lou: Yes, but he likes my hair in a braid and my nails painted.
Daddy: Yeah?
Lou: Yes. He likes paint, but not on you, Daddy! You're a big boy.
That conversation was filled with truths! Thanks, Lou, for the reminder that I am indeed The Most Blessed Man.
