GWG ~ Episode 4 - Remembering

As I have had the opportunity to visit with my Grandma to record her experiences and life, it never ceases to amaze me just how much she has witnessed in her life.  The great inventions of penicillin, Television and Nuclear Fision.  She lived in a transitional time where homes were introduced to television, electricity and running water.  She's lived through and witnessed great events such as the depression, WWII, the civil rights movement and the war against terrorism.

In two days, she will depart on The Honor Flight where she will travel to Washington DC with a plane filled with WWII Veterans as she will be celebrated as part of the greatest generation due in part to her involvement in the war efforts of World War II.  Today also marks the 15th anniversary of the terrorist acts against America in New York City on September 11th in the year 2001.  It seemed appropriate in preparation of her trip with The Honor Flight, and the anniversary of 9/11 to ask her to reflect on some of those memories.

As always, if you have questions you would like addressed by Grandma, please phone, text, facebook or email m with those questions.
